We have a great selection of societies that have stands at the Parish Chest and would welcome you as a member. Take a peek (http://www.parishchest.com/en-gb/dept_337.html).

Gwent Family History Society covers the old county of Monmouthshire in South East Wales.

Our Website is here

http://www.gwentfhs.info

Membership is easy - if you live outside the UK you can join through our stand at www.parishchest.com (http://www.parishchest.com) and if you live in the UK you can join by downloading the membership form on our website and sending it to the Membership Secretary whose address is on the form.

We produce a Journal four times a year and on joining you will get any back issues for the year you join. So if you join now you will get the March, June and September journals straight away and the December one when it is published.

We have loads of indexes and transcriptions available and a dedicated band of branch members are continuing to transcribe and index and photograph. All our publications are available through www.parishchest.com (http://www.parishchest.com) and if anyone has any questions about our Society or the publications then ask me. Either as a thread on this forum or a private message - PM me |laugh1|
