Hi,I've got a John Catlin b.1808 in Flamstead. I know his father was called Daniel but don't know the name of his mother or dates of birth, marriage and death. If anyone knows who Daniel's parents were I'd very much like to know that as well.
Thanks, Angelaj
Hi Angelaj,
Thers is a John Catlin Christened in Flamstead 31 May 1807. Parents were Daniel and Rebecca.
There are also three younger siblings should you want them.

Elley

Hi Elley,
Thanks for your help. Can I have the info. for the siblings as well. I don't suppose there were birth dates for Daniel and Rebecca?
Angela
Hi Angela,
These are Johns siblings children of daniel and Rebecca Flamstead.
John Catlin Christened 31 May 1807
Eliza Catlin Christened 18 June 1809
Elizabeth Catlin 10 April 1813
Daniel 18 June 1815
There are a couple of entries for Daniel Catlin's, not in Flamstead, so no way of knowiing which may be the correct one.
I have not yet found a marriage for Daniel and Charlotte so do not have Charlotte's surname to look for her birth, sorry.
Regards,
Elley
Hi Angela,
This is an extracted marriage from the IGI, I do not know if it is yours?
Daniel Catling married Rebecca Smith 5 November 1805 Hemel Hampstead Hertford.

Elley

Hi, The PRs do not give dates of birth for the four baptisms. The 1805 marriage entry reads ...
Daniel Catling of the parish of Flamstead, widower and Rebecca Smith of this parish (HH) spinster, married by licence by consent of parents on 5th November 1805. Witnesses Richard Fran?? Dickinson and Betty Orchard.
Hope this helps.
Regards ... Peter

I've just had a look on NBI v 1 for Catlin Burials (his first wife).
It claims to have Flamstead burials, but I've not found any - the only even remotely possible entries are:-
DATE FORENAME SURNAME AGE COUNTY PLACE
27 Jul 1800 Hannah CATLIN 28 Herts Abbots Langley, St Lawrence
9 Dec 1803 Susanna CATLIN Herts St Albans, St Stephen
26 Nov 1804 Elizabeth CATLING Herts St Albans, St Stephen
25 Aug 1803 Sophia CATLING Herts St Albans, St Michael
But NBI does not claim to be complete, especially the first edition, so you may still be able to find her from the PRs
