Hi,
|help| I have just recieved my grandad's Royal Naval service record 1923 - 1946 (Edward Good J80050). He was born in 1902 in Tring and according to my dad joined the cadets when he was 13yrs old. Can anyone help me find out the following please?
* There is no record of his time in the cadets 1915 - 1922/3 where might I find this out?
*I know where my grandad was born in Tring, but would like to know where he lived at the time of joining up as a Sea cadet (1915)and/or in the Navy (1923), would this be on a particular record?
* Was Tring a recruitment area for a particular base?
Hope someone can help this is all pretty new to me.
