John Johnson, Cheadle

Can anyone help with this elusive man? John Johnson is believed to have been born at Knutsford, he married Maggie (who may have been Margaret Parker). They were living at New Hay Road, Cheadle, from around 1930's to their deaths in 1950- something, they were then in their late 70's or 80's. They had no children. They were possibly married in 1898. I can find no other information for my husband's favourite Uncle. I have a couple of photos of him, if anyone is related, I can send a copy.
I would really appreciate any information at all,
