TIMBERLAKE, looking for any information on HENRY & THOMAS TIMBERLAKE who had bicycle manufacturing business's in MAIDENHEAD around the 1860 to 1900's period, they were originaly from HIGH WYCOMBE.

I have recently discovered my maternal grandmother and great grandmother were sent to Reading Prison in 1897/1898for allegedly accusing Henry Timberlake of being the father of my grandmother's illegitimate child. This came as a complete shock to me as noone had ever mentioned this in my family and the boy was brought up as the adopted son of my great grandparents. My grandmother's name was Rose Montague and she was the servant to Henry and Jesse. Have you heard anything of this?
