Victorian Marriage

If someone has access to Victorian marriage indexes could they check for a marriage of Edward Thomas Cheesman and Maud White prior to 1904 please.Edward Thomas was from South Australia but I cannot find a marriage for him there and cannot find anything on Maud White either. One child Stephen was born in 1904 and a daughter Audry, but I have no year.
I am guessing that the marriage could have been in Victoria.

I have just discovered that the child Stephen could not have been Edward Thomas' as he would have been 12 at that time. He is not likely to have been married before about 1913.
