Victoria Terrace Waymouth.

Could anybody help with information about Victoria Terrace Weymouth, My great Grandmother was a Domestic servant at 3 Victoria Terrace (1891 census.) Were these houses guest houses or residential any help at all will be very much appriciated.

Victoria Terrace is a row of rather large(ish) buildings on the sea front at Weymouth, (My father was born in one of them!). I have just returned from a mini break there and have a couple of photos which I would be happy to send you a copy.

As I was just reading about Canadian Home children & one of the Homes was in Victoria Terrace in Weymouth & there are contempary photos of it on the site.
Lovely place & as my friend lives in Wyke a familiar sight when I visit.
