Looking for info on a George Giles and his wife Charlotte Anne who were married in 1883. They lived in the Seaton Burn area of Northumberland. Their children were:
John (Jack) Giles - would like any info on him.
George Giles - married Leonora Ferguson, then disappeared after a couple of children!
Katherine Giles - believed to have moved to North Shields.
Emily Jane Giles - my grandmother (married Mark Harrison).
After the death of charlotte in 1905 George re-married to Sarah Bennett (widow) in 1907.
George Giles alledgedly walked from Wales to find work (before he met Charlotte) so we presumed he was born there - not so, he was actually born in Wiltshire where there are so many George Giles that it makes my head spin! lol :eek: .
