Sainsbury (not the store)

Have a George Sainsbury born c.1827 in Thornbury married to Sarah Diana Fryer born c. 1824 in Berkeley(?). They were married 14.April 1849 at Berkeley. Trying to find any brothers/sisters of George.
His father was also George Sainsbury married to Diane ? Any help here would be greatly appreciated, also have details of various Sainsburys in this area if any help.

Hello John,

I had a look in the 1841 census of Thornbury to see if I could find George jnr and any siblings. Unfortunately, I could not find George jnr but did find what could be his father (hopefully!!) plus some other SAINSBURYs all listed below:

In Gordon Beavington's transcript (partial) of the 1851 census mycensuses (http://www.parishchest.com/en-gb/dept_2461.html) your George jnr turns up in Falfield with Sarah:

Henry again ties in with the 1841 census of Thornbury, looking again at his age in the 1841, I think he is actually listed as 6 not 5 years old - my eyesight is getting worse!!
