I am trying to trace any descendents of my Grandfathers sister MARY ANN DUNN c1865 she married HENRY GLANVILLE c1866 both from Altarnun.
In the 1901 Census they were living at Ruddle Farm, St Austell with there 5 children:-
HILDA LILLIAN c1891
ELIZABETH MARION c1892
MILDRED ANNIE c1894
WILFRED HENRY c1898
MARY KATHLEEN c1899
Wilfred Henry died in Honiton in 1922 but I cannot find any trace of the other children. Any help will be most welcome.

Have you seen this website?

http://www.glanvillenet.info/glanville.htm

Lots of information about Glanvilles - I admit I have not looked for yours!
I have lots of Glanvilles in my tree - but earlier and mainly from the St Newlyn East area, but there is a wealth of information on that site.

Useful link for me Barbara - many thanks :)
The St Newlyn East/Perranzabuloe/St Enoder parishes are where most of my ancestors originated and, although I don't think I have any direct Glanville links, I certainly have some connections through marriages to them.

Glad to help, Mark!
I may be back - I have a couple of sticky problems with my Glanvilles - maybe they married yours!

Doubt it Barbara - my own Glanville connection is one of those somewhat vague ones where a Glanville married a lady whose sister married one of my Trenerry relations... That is from Perranzabuloe parish (Rose is the hamlet).
However, I do live quite close to St Newlyn East if that is of any help. If you think any of your Glanvilles may be interred in the churchyard, I am happy to take a look at the headstones for you. Later burials are in a larger cemetery on the outskirts of the village, which I have never visited - I should get round to that this spring I think!
By the way, there are some Glanvilles in the St Enoder Parish records (link in my signature) - including at least one burial for a Glanville from Trevilson, which is St Newlyn East parish.

Thanks Mark

I have roamed around the graveyard at St Newlyn East on a previous visit to Cornwall - with no success - but I did not know about the other one ...! I have a holiday planned this summer - I'll take a look then!
