My great grandfather is Robert Parry and according to his birth extract he was born Mar. 20, 1853 in Tynyfedw, Llanrhaiadr and his parents were Thomas and Jane (formerly Thomas) Parry who I believe were married in 1849 in St. Cedwyn, Llangedwyn. Both Robert's birth and Thomas and Jane's marriage were registered in Llanfyllin, Llansaintffraid. Thomas and Jane Parry had the following children according to the Wales Census of 1861 ref. R.G. 9/4293.
All born in Llanrhaiadr. I should also point out the enumerator made check marks in the male age column and could easily cause someone to misinterpret the ages.
Mary born abt 1852
Robert born Mar 20, 1853. He married Mary Pritchard Feb. 16, 1883 in Llanfyllin. They had a daughter Elizabeth Ann born 6 months before they married.
Jane born abt 1855
Harriett born abt 1857
Thomas born abt 1858
Catherine born abt 1860
Would someone please look up to see if any of the other children got married, if so, to whom and when?
I've come across more information on the location of Tinyfedw. It is located on the north-south road running between Bwlch-y-Ddar in the south and Llangedwyn in the north.
