Basford Marriage Lookup Please

Hello,

Please can someone lookup a marriage for me? I need the parental information of the groom, and since it is the christmas hols, I have little chance of receiving a certificate for a while!

It is the marriage of Kenneth Leslie Adams and Olwen Margaret Griffiths, married in the second quarter of 1953 at Basford, Nottinghamshire (3c 105)

That will give you just a flavour of the number of different places where a marriage might have taken place in the Basford registration district.

The only feasible way to find out what's on a marriage certificate is to order the certificate (if the marriage took place at the register office it is the only way).
