BLADEN & DUNN - Staveley 1901.

1881 & 1891 Census show Thomas BLAYDON and wife Ann with their family including Henry BLADEN b. West Bromwich 1875 residing in Staveley.
1891 Census shows Sylvanus DUNN and his family including Alice Ann DUNN born Newbottle, Durham abt, 1876 also residing in Stavely.
Henry and Alice married in 1895 and became my grandparents...they moved to Mansfield.
If anybody has connections to either of these families in Staveley I would love to hear from them.
With 10 children in each family, some of them must have married into Staveley families...

my husband is the grandson of John Bladen, born 1865, he married Catherine Harrison. Their daughter married into the Greveson Family. Henry was John's brother

Hi Midge,
I have been given to understand that John Bladen and Catherine Harrison didn't have much luck with their children. All apear to have died at a very early age.
I have 8 of them listed, but would be interested to know which of them lived to maturity. If there is any information you would like please let me know.

John & Catherine Bladen had 9 children, all died as babies except George, [born 1891] who died when he was 11, and Catherine, she was born in 1902 and died aged 46 in 1948. She married Frederick Arthur Greveson and lived in Clowne. Catherine Bladen left Staveley and moved to Clowne when Thomas died.
