Old postcards/photos website

I've just been browsing the Francis Frith (old postcards etc) website. I'd forgotten about the site until I was looking for a picture of a church where one of my ancestors married. Although the pictures are often taken in the 50s and 60s, it does give you some idea of what a place looked like in days gone by. The church I was looking for was demolished in 1956, so I was delighted to find a picture of it taken in 1955.

Yes - I have looked through the collection for Newquay, which is where I came from, in the past. Some very interesting photos of the Trenance Lake area and other parts of the town which were really interesting. Well worth a look at I think!
