I highlight the bit I want to quote, click the button but the whole post transfers with no blue box. So many of you can do it - why can't I ??

It took me a while too!
Click on the quote box on the message you want to quote from. Then delete the bits you don't want. Then add your message. Make sure you leave the bits in square brackets at the beginning & end of the quote box.

on the quote box on the message you want to quote from. Then delete the bits you don't want.

Or if you don't want to delete anything perhaps you may wish to split the message by adding in extra opening tags and closing tags.



Then add your message. Make sure you leave the bits in square brackets at the beginning & end of the quote box.

The opening tag is the first bit in square brackets at the start of the message and the closing tag the bit in square brackets at the end of the message.

Aha!! Thanks Guy. I tried to split the quotes before but couldn't seem to work it out. I didn't think about the tags!

This is really where I fall down in html by using FrontPage and not coding myself. If I had, I would have been able to work this out for myself! I really must get myself some lessons!! ;)
