Pallot's Marriage Querie?

On reading messages on Pallot's marriage index is it possible to look for a marriage with only the Male's full name & Females first name?

So how do I find a Francis Holton marrying a Sophia ? . First child born 1824 in Lambeth? Francis was born in 1799.

No, You have not misunderstood me, I was looking for a marriage for them, & I don't have the Pallots Marriage Index. Thank you for the info on looking up methods etc. I was just hoping someone could look up for me. Which is what you have done-alas to no avail. But thanks muchly for trying.
