Anyone researching Richardson at Wadhurst pre 1850.
I have a John Richardson who took his discharge from the 65th Regiment in New Zealand. He enlisted in England Jan 1849 and finished March 1861. No age unfortunately, just that he was from Wadhurst. No age on his marriage in 1855, before that was required. Cannot find his death here in NZ either.
There was a John in the 1841 census aged 13, son of John and Jane, at Foxes Farm, Wadhurst, which is a possibility. By 1851 John and Jane were in North Street, Tunbridge Wells, and were still there in 1861. They are a possibility because of the names of Johns children in NZ.
