My grandfather was in the RFC as a flight sergeant. I do not knoww when he joined up or when he left. Can any one give me pointers as to where to start? My Grandfather married my grandmother in 1923, apparently he was still meant to be in service at the time, but nowt is mentioned on the marriage cert.

What part of the country did Thomas come from and who were his parents?

Thomas Butler came from Lambeth/Brixton area in London and was born 1890.
Annie Amelia and Thomas Butler were his parents. Hope to hear from you.
