I am having difficulty in deciphering the handwring on a certificate of service for my ancestor.
He served variously as gunner's mate , Yeoman of Powder room quartermaster, gunner etc but I can't make out the abreviation beside his service record on the Royal William from Jan - May 1808.
Could SKS help?

I'd love to try and help but the image doesn't show correctly. If you like, by all means click on my name and then send an e-mail to me with the image as an attachment.
