Found an Almanack [1844] in my fathers affects,interesting snippets
an Address by the Rev` Walter Blunt curate of Helston for the election of
Church wardens.
Also words to a song Success to the West Cornwall Railway
My Grandmother Laura Bolitho was born in Helston 1860
searching that line with little success.
Cornwall is a long way from L`pool.

I've got the 1861 Census for Cornwall ....... would you like me to look for her? Do you have the names of her Parents?

Have found Laura Bolitho age 1 on 1861 c
looking for father John & mthr Eliza [Paul] marriage
in 1861 they lived at 33 Wendron St Helston,
with another daughter Mary Smathram age 11
No John on census.

I can sympathise with you not finding John, I've lost a whole family in Censuses for 41/51/61 and yet the wife and son are both buried in Constantine graveyard :confused:
