Aitchison/Nicholson/Main families (coal mining)

Looking for information on coal mine management families of Robert AITCHISON (Auchterderran c1907), and David Nicholson (Dysart) c1908. in Fife. Robert married Janet MAIN and they had a dau. Rachael c1908. Rachael married David (son of David) NICHOLSON of Dysart in 1938. Both David Nicholson and Robert Aitchison were coal mine managers in Fife.
The Aitchison family lived at 27 Balbonie Tce, Auchterderran.
Any connections or census info would be appreciated.

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that it is BALGONIE
Terr. in Auchterderran. My dad was born at #49
in 1918 my grandmother and her parents lived at #148 in 1901 and my aunt and uncle lived at #43
in 1922. It was known as the Jamphlars back then,
and either Bowhill or Cardenden as the village.
I have the 1901 census but it is only for #145-149.
However I do have old photos and documents regarding Auchterderran and the pits. If you contact me by email, I will see what I can find for you.
