I think George William VINE and Julia Maud STAFF got married in Romford sometime between 1910 and 1921
Is there any way of checking this out without taking a trip to an Essex records office?
(Transport from the wilds of Suffolk can be dire when you don't drive ;) )

I suggest that you use "1837 online" to identigy the marriage - it is a pay per view site but cheaper than trekking to London to the Family Records Centre.

Thanks to Paul for your reply. I think I'll have to carry on looking on 1837 online - I have already spent a few quid looking backwards from their daughters birth and haven't found it yet.
As for the Suffolk Records Office, when I first got into FH earlier this year, ( how quickly it becomes all consuming, ) I asked about the GRO Index and they put me on to the 1837 web site, so I assume that means they don't have it.
