Mary Ann (Lampen ) Brooks was born 29 July 1798 in Devon, Devonshire, England to Henry Lampen and Elizabeth. According to the 1861 Devon Census, she was living with her daughter Elizabeth (Brooks) Sargent at that time. On the 1841 West Cornwall census, Mary was a widow, lliving with her children and her mother, Elizabeth Lampen. Elizabeth is born in Cornwall. I could not find her at all on the 1851 census of either place. There is a possibility she could be a daughter of Henry Lampen and Elizabeth. I would apreciate a look up on the 1851 census and any other additional information on this family. Thank you in advance. Jackie
