Tomlinson Birth and Death

Having hunted through Family History online Lincolnshire, Ancestry, Family Search, FreeBDM and they all tell me she never exsisted. I'm stumped. :(

I have a Herriott Tomlinson b. 1841 died before 1851. Her parents were John Tomlinson & Mary Cartwright(nee Horton) m. 1840. Lincolnshire. Mary's second marriage. She m. James Cartwright in 1835 Beesby in the Marsh and he died 1836 and left her with a young son George b. 1836, Beesby in the Marsh.

Herriott is in the 1841 census but not the 1851. Can someone see if they can find just when she died please? Its possible that she only lived a few days.

A Harriett TOMLINSON was buried at Aylesby 21 May 1843 age 3. As Aylesby is less than a mile from Laceby (where the family were in 1841), it seems quite likely to me that this was your "Herriott", although the age is slightly out. She was 5 months old in the 1841 census.

I agree that does sound like my lass. I knew it would be sitting right under my nose :D Not knowing exactly where places are in relation to each other makes things harder than they need be sometimes.
