Hart- Goldsmid- Pyke Uk And Australian Links

The following families originated in the UK but migrated to Australia. These families have further ties to the Crawcour/Jacobs/Hart and other families ( see previous postings on the Jacobs Glass Manufacturer lists).
Any data on the following families would be welcome.

Bernard Hart b 1859 d 1929 Burwood m Rachel Pyke bd 1944 Burwood ( dau of Louis and Esther Pyke). Bernard is one of the sons of Aaron Hart and Anne Rebecca Crawcour ( my ggg grandparents)
The children of Bernard and Rachel are:

Aaron HC Hart b 1893 Bathhurst
Doris A b 1896 Paddington

Bernard's sister Phoebe Hart b 1844 Whitechapel d 1909 Burwood m Albert Aaron Goldsmid ( son of Joseph Goldsmid and Celia Jacobs)
The children of Phoebe and Albert are:

Percy Harrry Goldsmid b 1870
Rebecca Goldsmid b 1872
Lionel Goldsmid b 1880


This Hart line also links back further to the grandparents of Bernard and Phoebe Hart who were Henry Hart and Phoebe Myers.

The following family is also related to the Bernard and Phoebe Hart lines ( see Hart-Goldsmid-Pyke message). Grace Hart b 1861 d 1926 is the sister of Phoebe and Bernard. She migrated to Australia and married William Henry Hanson. Grace is the daughter of Aaron Hart and Anne Rebecca Hart nee Crawcour. She was born Rose Cottage the Oval Kensington.
The death certificate for Grace shows her living at 105 Park St Collingwood- wife of William Henry Hanson. Her children included William age 35;Albert dead; Grace dead; Walter dead; Percy 26 ( the informant); Rebecca 22; Joseph 20.

As an update on the ALBERT AARON GOLDSMID b 1846 d 1933 NSW buried Rookwood Cemetery and PHOEBE HART ( daughter of AARON HART and ANN REBECCA CRAWCOUR) decendants here is a list of their children and their descendants. They are all my distant relatives.

JOSEPH A GOLDSMID b 23 June 1869 married MARTHA EVANS. Joseph was a Doctor of Medicine and a Captain


LIONEL GOLDSMID b 1880 d 1933 married ESTHER FRANKS b1882. Their children EDNA PHOEBE GOLDSMID b1903 D 1977 married ERNEST MORRIS.

FRANCES; LIONEL b 1929 d1953; JUNE

PERCY H GOLDSMID b 1870 d 1948 married 1 ESTHER R V HART daughter of BERNARD HART and RACHEL PYKE - Bernard is the brother of Phoebe Hart ); Rachel died 1928 and Percy re- married to ETHEL ORCHARD

REBECCA GOLDSMID b 1872 married JOSEPH HORACE SALMON. Their son HORACE A SALMON b 1905 NSW
