Following on from the Clerical Disabilities Act, I have just managed to purchase the two Public & General Acts Books for the years 1873 & 1879 and so will soon be adding some more transcripts to my Acts site.
Acts included in the two books
An Act to amend the Bastardy Laws
An Act to extend Suits for Nullity of Marriage the Law with respect to the Intervention of Her Majesty's Proctor and others in Suits in England for dissoving Marriages.
An Act for the Relief of Widows and children of Intestates where the personal estate is of small value
This is just a small selection of various Acts of interest to family historians.
