Would anyone know if it is possible to obtain copies of Wills as recently as the early 1950's?

If I can, how would I go about it? I know where the person was born and where they died (I'm not sure she even had a Will, but I want to find out). Where should I start looking?

Apologies if this is a really basic question for all of you experts out there, or if it is covered elsewhere in this forum.
