1841 and 1851 census and 25 Cross Street

Can any one help me find the names of residents of 25 Cross Street, St Philip's Birmingam, for 1841 and 1851? I have the birth certificate for a distant relative born there on 25 June 1846. Her mother and father lived in London and were at home for both censuses so my working assumption was that the mother went home to her family to give birth. The mother signed with an "X" and the clerk recorded her name as "Jane Phillips formerly Danvel" (could be Damel) but in any case we don't know if the mother was able to give the correct spelling of her maiden name to the clerk. Jane was born prior to 1837 and married pre-1841 so my only hope of tracking her down is to find her parents' family name. Thanks, Roger.

Hi Roger

Ive done quite a bit of digging for this and still cant come up with an answer! firstl i think the street name maybe Croft street, as there is no Cross street in B'ham St Phillip. I also think Janes surname could be Daniel/s???

I have checked the 1841 census for Croft Street and cannot find the family, but I cannot easily locate the same in 1851.

Not sure what else I can do except search more on the 1851 census, but maybe the above suggestions will help the search for Jane?!!
