Leavens Name

Can anyone help me find the Baptism Record of Caroline Leavens born in Cambridge pls. I have her birth cert. 1898 in Linton, and her name on that is Caroline Mary and on her Wedding cert it is Caroline Annie Dorothy, was this changed at her baptism. I also know she died in Cobham in Surrey of TB in 1928/9 (late 28 or early 29) but there is absolutely no record of her death anywhere. She registered her hubbys death in 1925 in Cobham so she was a living person!!! Thanx everyone.

To find her christening/baptism record you would have to go through the Parish Registers for the area, held at the Cambridge County Records Office.

What was her married name, her death will be recorded under that ... ?

Cobham is in the Epsom Registration District ...

You're right, her death isn't obvious in the GRO Index ..

Is it possible she remarried ... ?

Have you tried the local register office for Cobham ?

It has been known for records to get "lost" between local register offices and the PRO ...

Thanx for all the info, but she didn't marry again, so her name would have been Collison. I have all Jacks certificates and their wedding cert. but only Caroline Marys birth cert, but i cant go any higher up the tree until i find out if this is one and the same person. I will have another try at the Camb. County Records office but dont hold out much hope. But will try the Cobham Registry again!!! I wont give up. Thanx again
