Hi Linda,
Sorry to have to use this way to contact you, but my mail 'is down' at the moment!
Not only that, but yesterday 'Our Group' was down when I tried to post a message to you, so I left one for you at the other Place!'
I tried to post another message today at 5.15p.m. and the same thing happened! http://uk.geocities.com/diane.gerry@btinternet.com/Crying.gif
Have left it at the other Place again! :D

Hi again Linda,
Today is NOT my day! I've just checked and my message hasn't appeared at the other place either! http://uk.geocities.com/diane.gerry@btinternet.com/Crying.gif
I'm going offline now (shattered from gardening!) so hopefully, everything will be OK tomorrow! ;)

Hi Diane
Now I'm confused
I saw your message on Our Group yesterday about having problems and that you posted on the other place. But I couldn't access the other place 'cos I forgot my passwaord:o , so I requested my password to be emailed to me, but I haven't received it yet |computer| . Besides that, whenever a new message is posted on that other place I usually get it in my inbox, but I didn't get your message.
However, I did get the message that you left on "Our Group" in response to my request , and I responded. Now, are you saying that you cannot even see those messages on Our Group, 'cos I can assure you that they are there.
Thank you |hug|
Looks as though the problem might be at your end. Hope you get things sorted out soon.
Linda

Hi Linda,
I'm sorry about confusing you! The trouble is, although I've been able to get into our Group in the mornings, just for a *read* ......... in the afternoons about 4.30p.m. to 5.30p.m. I just get the white page with Done at the bottom, which always happens when MSN are 'tinkering about' again.
That's when we use the other Place as a back-up as you know, but this is also playing up!
On the 22 May, unable to put a message on with MSN, I put it on at the other Place at 5.15p.m. This is the time it appeared: Message #1 of 2: Date Posted: 22 May 2006 17:48.
After dinner, I managed to get the same message on at our Group: Message Sent: 22/05/2006 18:39 and I read your reply to it yesterday morning, the 24th: Message Sent: 23/05/2006 12:08

In my inbox this morning, I received a copy of my first message which was posted on the 22 May, so it must have been for a detour via the moon, so copies should arrive in your inbox soon.
A tree trunk split in half yesterday with the gale force winds here, so now I've got to start clearing up the mess of branches etc. so may not be around for a while.
Hi Diane
Just logged into my email to find the message from the moon :D which you posted on the 22nd in the other place, and I also finally received my password, so yes, as well as MSN, the other place is acting up
Sorry to hear about your tree. Didn't know you had gale force winds over there. Yesterday it was so warm here we had the air conditioner on for a while in the afternoon, already!.
Let me know when your email is up and running and I will write more about my activities about the house :(
Linda
Oooh! Aren't we a nosey lot!? This thread has had 54 views so far! ;)
Linda
Well, what do you expect - a bit like 'please ignore' ;)
And you know how we family historians like a bit of a mystery.......... :D
Best wishes
Ann
PS - hope the tree didn't do too much damage Diane.

|wave| Girls,
Everything is back to normal with my BT mail now Linda, I received your email this morning and I'll reply a little later.
The tree in question is in my disabled neighbour's garden, (I do it for him) and it is heavily laden this year with laburnum flowers. This area is always windy, when the rest of the area is still, but it was very windy a couple of days ago everywhere, making the tree area extremely windy! :(
I managed to saw up the branches in order to move them from the damaged flower beds, so that's something. My neighbour is making arrangements for the tree to be felled, as the remaining split trunk is no longer safe.
Luckily, I wasn't gardening at the time! :D
