Can anyone help please!!!

Re:-Leslie William James Noller, Gunner Royal Artillery

I have recently obtained my dads' WW2 service record. He served in the Royal Artillery, and was attached to various regiments/Units. My hope is that someone out there in "Netland" can tell me where these regiments/units were posted at the given dates.

Primarily I am interested in his whereabouts in North West Europe. Between October 1944 and Christmas 1944 when he was attached to the 53rd Heavy Artillery Regiment and the 146th Medium Regiment.

My other main interest is his time in Palestine. On 10th Nov 1946 he "embarked UK for M.E.L.F" (middle east land forces) , he is noted variously as attached to the 41st field Regiment, 2nd Field and 26th Heavy. He returned to the UK in August 1947.

Below are some notes decipherd from the records, littered with abbreviations, and giving more postings.

I would be most glad of any assistance.

Thanks for looking.
