new here so hello to all hopwe I may be of help,recent cyberspace acquaintance sent me here.
Anyone know what a husbandman was and additionally a Trimmer

A Husband-Man / Husbandman 1) Tenant farmer 2) Farmer dealing with animals (14th century From the Anglo-Saxon husbonda)
Trimmer 1) Ship's crewman who trimmed coal in ship's bunkers 2) Dockworker who trimmed grain or bulk cargo in ship's hold to spread it out evenly

many thanxs Annie I thought it was something along the lines of a kept man and as for a trimmer something to do with tailoring.

You may also like to note that, depending on the context and date, 'husbandman' may additionally be used to imply social class or status - in this case between a yeoman and a cottager.
