Those who live in the UK will know about the hosepipe bans, which came into force two months ago in certain areas. There was also the advice, (which was hammered home!) about not brushing your teeth 'under a running tap.'
Apparently, if we all turned the tap off, the savings on water would be immense ...... so that's fine. :)
However, my husband went into a *short stay unit* on Friday morning, this is for overnight stays only. It was specially built inside our local Hospital and it opened last February.
Yesterday was the first time in 30 years of marriage, that I saw him unshaven ..... he didn't like having 'so-called-designer-stubble' either! If that wasn't bad enough for him, he also found it very difficult to wash his face properly 'under a running tap'. ;)
There was no facility to insert a plug in the wash bowl, as the drainaway was flush with the bowl! |shakehead
