My Great Uncle married my Great Aunt in Ontario in 1907. By 1914 the were living in Vancouver. My Great Uncle joined up and fought in France. He had returned by 1924 when he is shown as the Informant when their 3-day old baby died. My Great Uncle died in Australia in 1949, the Informant was his "wife" whom he had "married in Vancouver" around 1930. My Great Aunt's father died in 1940 and his obituary in the local, Engelhart Ont, paper my Great Aunt also appears to have "remarried". Possible explanations include Divorce and bigamous marriages.
My questions are: How can I find out if they divorced? If they got a divorce, a)would it have to be in Vancouver, b) could it be anywhere in Canada, c0 would a "foriegn",eg US divorce count in Canada?
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Peter

Thanks J, I've had a looksee, but no luck even with spelling variations for all parties. I'll have to consider the other possibilities.
