View Full Version : Boots the Chemist

Anyone familiar with my previous postings will know that I am somewhat searching for a needle in a haystack!
Although it seems my granddad was illegitimate, myself and my family recall him telling stories of his father having a connection with Boots the Chemist in the early 1900's.
Anyone any idea how I could find out ex-employees?

I would say that there are three important things to know. The name of your great-grandfather, his birth date, and his date of death. Knowing where he lived/might have worked would be a bonus.
You could then write to Boots head office asking if they have any information regarding employees in the early 1900s. Say you have a name, birth and death dates, and town of employment (if known).
I would address the letter to the HR Manager.
