The Shoreditch 1871 census has given me a new birthplace for my 2xGt. Grandfather George GOWARD, born about 1817 Bedford St. Andrews. The names of the children still at home are correct as far as I know and his occupation, wood turner, fits too. Bedford St. Andrews is new to me, and I would be grateful for any advice on finding his birth details.
