I am trying to locate the sibblings of Mary in order to work out the marriage date of her parents.

I have search intensely for an Edward Golightly married to a Mary, unsuccessfully, that doesn't mean that there isn't a record just that i can't find it.

Are you sure they married? What does the birth certificate say/ Often they are misleading too.

This is the correct family. My mistake.
Wife is not Mary but Jane.
Looked up Mary Golightly's birth certificate and found that her father Edward's occupation is given as Sawyer.
Residence is Dunston, Whickham, Durham, Gateshead.
