I recently found an ancestor had lived in Cheltenham, where I work, so when I found that the GRO were quoting 15 working days and last time I ordered from them they over-ran the quoted time by a week, I tried the Cheltenham registry office. I took my form and cheque in during my lunch break yesterday and when I got home from work tonight there it was in the post, great what a shame I don't have more relatives from this area!
