Hi, I'm trying to find emily cotton in the 1881 census. I know she was born in 1871, Goldenhill, Staffordshire, her parents on her birth certificate say Thomas & Mary Ann (formerly Bailey) at that time they were living at Albert Street, Goldenhill. She married Alfred Baker (not sure when) but in the 1901 census they were married with 5 children the eldest being 8 years of age. Any information especially about were the family were in 1881 would be greatfully received.

on the 1881 census the district goldenhill has just 6 pages,
they are pages 28 to 32, the rest are not there, so it looks like your family may be on one of the missing pages
