RUST, MOORE, PEELING in Murrow and Parson Drove.

I am trying to help my Mum find out about her mother EVA RUST (born 1918, died 1952) who married ALBERT KENNETH MOORE in the early 1940's. As Eva died when my Mum was young she knows very little about her mothers side of the family. These are the details that I have been able to piece together...

Leah Rust (Eva’s sister)
DOB: 1924
Died: 1978 (May ?)
Married name: Moore
Married on:?

Cath Rust (Eva’s sister)
DOB: ?
Married name: Ellinsworth

All of the above lived at one point in ‘The Alley’ Murrow.

Married to Mr Beckett

The above lived at Celias Lane, Parson Drove. Parents are Louise Peeling and ? Moore

Welcome to the forum. i presume you do not already have the marriage & birth certificates for your grandmother & her siblings. You can get the references from the General Register Office Index (GRO), which will enable you to send off for the certificates from the govenrment site. At the moment you can access the index online for free through ancestry. You need to register your name & email address, but do not give any more details (eg credit card) unless you want to sign up for a subscription. Best to see what you can get for free first!

Albert Kenneth Moore known as Ken was the son of Albert Moore who was the older brother of William Stanley Moore, (my dad). The other siblings were Daisy, Cissie, Ida, Grace known as Eve and Arthur. I have researched the Moore line back several generations and am happy to share this information with you. I will try and work out how you can access it on-line. I also have photographs. You could also see several ancestors graves at Emmanuel churchyard Parson Drove.
