Can anyone tell me who was living at 119 Sidney Grove, Newcastle in October 1907 (or failing that, at least who was there at the 1901 census)? I'm anxious to identify the sender of a postcard dated 5 October 1907, sent anonymously from that address to a Mrs Parker, 12 New Street, Keswick, Cumberland.

Thanks
Geoff

Just to report: from another source I've found that 119 Sidney Grove, Elswick, Newcastle, was occupied at the 1901 census by a family of nine brothers and sisters (no parents) named HALL, ranging in age from Mary A. HALL (aged 28) to Elizabeth HALL (aged 14). Thanks to all who took the trouble to read my message!

HELLO...... Have just read through your posting with regards to a post card! My Great Grandparents were that Hall Family. Elizabeth went to live with her Son William Richard after the death of her Husband John Hall. you may contact me direct if you wish m55rge (at) yahoo.co.uk Not sure yet who the card was from or for but that would be another lead for me. Perhaps had something to dfo with Elizabeth nee Charlton. Regards Marjorie
