My GG Grandparents, John Craig and Elizabeth Orr married in Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, Scotland. In 1841 John left for New Brunswick, Canada. Elizabeth and their first-born son Thomas joined him the following year. They settled in an area near Chatham which became known as Craigville.
Much of the research I did a few years ago was lost unfortunately so I'm now trying to rebuild. If there is anyone researching in New Brunswick (Northumberland County)who might have Craigs/Orrs in their Lines, please get in touch. I'd also be interested in Curries from Chatham area around 1930/1940's.
