Woburn Hills Nottingham

I recently received a marriage certificate for one of my Nottingham relatives who was married in 1866 with his place of residence being Woburn Hills, Nottingham.

I have tried various wqays to finding this area of Nottingham anmd one person even suggested it could be Whyburn Hill but even this remains a location problem.

Rather like Narrow Marsh - which, thanks to another subscriber - I have now found, this seems likely to have disappeared under the rebuilding of the 1930s(?)

If anyone has heard of this area/street of Nottingham, please let me know.

In reply to my own mail, and thanks to one very kind person, I am now able to locate both Woburn Hill(not Hills) and Narrow Marsh.

For those interested, Woburn Hill was in that area just east of Sneinton/Manvers Road and Narrow Marsh is now Cliff Road just a few streets north of the Midland station.
