Hello All,
I have found a reference to a Charles R WRIXON born in Bridport c1853. Having found him in the census for 1901 I have failed to find him anywhere else.
If anyone has any information on the parents or family of Charles R (Randall) WRIXON I would be interested in hearing from them. In the census data his wife is listed as Sarah J WRIXON (Nee ?) from Bert Rilges Regis (c1864).
Going by the places of birth for his children he looks like a very mobile Ag Lab.

Thanks Elley,
I was woundering why there was such a large gap between the marriage & kids in Poorstock / Powerstoke. They where not in Poorstock.
So that brings the count to eight children. I wonder where Mercy & George where during the 1861 Census. I suppose Mercy being 15 she might be working and George would be 13 so maybe school or they both could have died.

Hi Alex
Charles Rendell Wrixon was bn Melplash 1851. He married twice, first Mary Ann Toop from Holton in 1871, with whom he had 4 children that I know of. Mary Ann died in 1883 and later that year Charles m Sarah Jane Boyt from Bere Regis. They had 11 children. Charles died in 1941
His sister Mercy and his brother William Mabey Wrixon were living with Rendell relatives in Hook in 1861
George died as an infant though there was another George bn 1865
Hope this is helpful to you - what's your connection with the family?
Regards
Jennie

Hello Alex
Thanks for your information
Charles Rendell Wrixon was my g g grandfather. He had 4 sons that I know of by his first wife Mary Ann -- Edward/ Edwin, William Mabey bn 1871, David Walter and George
William Mabey Wrixon m Harriett Elizabeth Browning in 1896 at Ringwood, and my grandfather William Douglas Mabey Wrixon was born in 1898 at Penton Mewsey nr Andover
You surprised me with 2 of Charles' children, Percy and Reginald. He also had twins (I presume), Charles Rendell and Sarah bn 1901 though I believe one of them died shortly after birth

Hi Jennie,
Thanks for the extra information. I had spotted the twins in 1901 but had not confirmed them as being his. So that would make 17 children which would be a record in my tree. I had a couple of 15 on the LAMBERT side (also having twins.)
David John WRIXONs father Gerald Charles WRIXON (who would be Charles Rendell's grandson) is still alive.
Have you pushed Charles Rendell's family tree further back? I have his parents and grand parents names but I have two couples married around the same time with similar names so i'm not sure which couple is the right one.
If you are interested I have basic family tree done in PowerPoint which I could send you. You have probable figured it out already but my wife is a WRIXON as well.
