My biological father died when I was less than a year old. He was only 29 and collapsed at home. My mother and my adopted father never told me about him in their lifetime, although I knew from about the age of 12.
As a healthy 29 year old man, who played football locally, surely there was an inquest into his death?
However, we could find no mention of it in newspaper reports of the time, though we did find his obituary and the family acknowledgements after the event. Where would we find a copy of the coroner's report and why could we not find mention of it in the local press?
