Birth of George Wales, June quarter 1838, Downham vol 13 page 77 (This may be Mary's younger brother).
Birth of Ann Mary Maycraft, June quarter 1843 Wisbech vol 14 page 155 (This may be Anthony's younger sister). The birth certificate would give the name of the father, his occupation, the name of the mother & her maiden name.

If you know the General Register Office (GRO) BMD reference details, then you can order a certificate online at www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificate/ (http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificate/) . You can find the GRO references at www.freebmd.org.uk (http://www.freebmd.org.uk) which is not complete yet, but is free & indexed; or ancestry which has the nearly complete GRO index, is not indexed & is free at the moment; or sites like family relatives (pay-per-view.)

The marriage & birth details I gave you were GRO references.

The marriage & birth details I gave you were GRO references.But note that Civil Registration only began in England and Wales in the Seqptember Quarter of 1837. If you are looking for any events prior to then, you will need to refer to parish registers.

Also, the birthplace for Rebecca Wales in the 1851 census will be Wimbotsham which is a bit to the north of Downham Market. If you aren't familiar with the area, there are many online maps, such as http://www.streetmap.co.uk/

Just a note to let you know that I have ordered and received Anthony and Mary Maycroft's married Certificate. Thanks again to all for your help.

Now I'm looking for Anthony's parents; Matthew and Susannah Maycroft born abt, Earily 1800's.
Also Mary Wales parents; John and Rebecca Wale's of Norfork also born abt 1800.
