I can not find a marriage or a death for these people! I've hunted high and low for them. I've tried IGI, FHO, FreeBMD etc. Ancestry is no good as my sub has run out and I'm debating as to weather or not to renew.
Sarah Hall b. Jan 31 1793
Matthew Hall b. 1801 (Don't know when in 1801)
Anna Hall b. April 10 1903
Elizabeth Hall b. Aug 21 1808
and
William Hall b. June 16 1805 m Judith Fidell (When?) Don't have a death for either.
All were born in North Kelsey.
They are the offspring of Richard Hall and Mary Clark. I need a death for Mary as well.
Can everyone help please.
Many thanks.
Irene

Don't have a death for either. All were born in North Kelsey...Well, William and Judith HALL were still alive in 1851:
1851 Census: HO107/2114 Folio 229 Page 16
Address: North Kelsey, Lincolnshire
William HALL Head Mar 44 Carpenter [born] Lincolnshire N. Kelsey
Judith HALLwife Mar 43 [born] do Elsham
Thomas HALL Son 14 Farm Labourer [born] do Caistor
Mary A HALL Daur 9 at School [born] do N. Kelsey
John HALL Son 6 at School [born] do N. Kelsey
HTH,
Trish
You probably know this already... Judith was still alive in the 1881 census but she is a widow... [RG11/3284 Folio 45 Page 6] William was still alive in 1871 so his death happened between 1871 and 1881...
FreeBMD has a death record for a Judith HALL, 82, in the March quarter of 1891 in the district of Glanford Brigg. This looks like a good match for your Judith. [Volume 7a Page 470]

Thanks Trish Thats William out of the way for a bit. Now I know where to start looking I should be able to found out when he died.
The trouble with my mob is that they all seem to have the same names! Makes life difficult :D

Hi Irene,
Thought I recognised the name of Judith in connection with your Halls - Geoff Everitt gave you the marriage details in your thread headed 'Marriage - William Hall Help!'
Some details of the deaths of William and Judith are mentioned in the 'OK - I'm stumped!! William Hall's kids!!' thread.
Probably some of the other details you're looking for have also been answered in either these or other Hall threads.

IreneHi Irene,
Matthew's *baptism* is on the IGI on the same batch number as his siblings - C030532. The dates quoted for all the siblings are *baptism* dates, NOT birth dates.
The difference between birth and baptism dates is much greater than the difference between death and burial dates. Whereas death and burial dates are usually about 3-10 days apart at most, birth and baptism dates can differ by a few minutes or even a lifetime, as there are lots of instances of people being baptised just before they die. Given the fact there are no 'job lot' baptisms (i.e. two or more on the same date) then the children may well have been baptised within the first few months of their lives, but never assume that as fact.

Hi Pam,
I know they are baptisms rather than actual birth dates but they are close enough for now. Although my lot seem to be very good at get the kids christened or baptised within a few days if not weeks of the birth.
It was William's death that I was after - the 'when' was the result of someone coming in asking a question about work for godsake! Didn't notice it til this morning! (Didn't re-read before posting) I now know which ten years to focus on for his death and Judith's.
I 'm trying to find the marriages or deaths of his siblings. |banghead| so far
