Hello to the list.
I am very new at this, so do hope I am posting correctly?
I have been searching for a William Waterman [surname not profession :-)]
and his daughter Ann Clara Waterman.
The rest of the family are in the 1841 and 1851 census- but not these two. Story goes they were killed by a severe storm that hit surrounding areas of Woolwich, Plumstead etc in Kent, England. They were travelling in horse and buggy at the time of the storm.
No trace has been seen since the families last child was born in 1834 Woolwich.
I am in real need of some help here, anyone?
Either newspaper reports or burials etc.
This is a direct line of my family tree, so most important to me. Any help at all would be so very much appreciated.
kind regards to everyone
Jen from OZ

The most obvious course of action for you is to search the burial records for St Mary Magdalene, Woolwich and if necessary extend the search to Plumstead or wherever you found the family in the census.

While you're looking at the PRs, you should also check those entries you've found in the IGI.

Many thanks for your swift reply.
I have done the Parish records and B.T's for the area, nothing!
Nothing on IGI re deaths.
I am at a loss as to why I cannot at least find a death for Ann Clara born 1829 Woolwich.
Many thanks again for your help.
