Hi my Jones and Morgan family come from Pen-y-cae near Ystradgynlais which used to be in Breconshire. I am finding it incredilbly difficult to get past my great grandmothers and great grandfathers. there are very few older family members left so I've no one to ask.
They were Margaret Morgan b 1892 married to Thomas Jones b 1891 and
Jonah Jones b1874 second marriage Edith Maud Roberts b1883
I have a marriage certificate for Jonah and Edith that says Jonah is a bachelor though my mother thought that he had a child, Mabel, by a first wife and they were marrie in a registry office. They were living in Porth when they married. On the certificate his father is given as David Jones and hers as Richard Roberts, David wasn't at the wedding. I have found several references to all these names in various census but how do I tell which is the right one, likewise the search for bmd. Anyone with any ideas?
