Hi, just seen your entry re the Forryan family. I have lived & worked in Wigston for years, and can tell you the family has always been one of the best known names in the town - even having roads named after them. There used to be a shop in the centre run by them and there may have been connected to the Council. Could be worth a check with the Oadby & Wigston Borough Council offices, Bushloe End, Wigston.

My gt gt Aunt Ruth Harding married a Forryan.

Ernest Edward Forryan born abt 1885 Market Bosworth. They were married 27th April,1914 Sibson Leicester. They had a daughter Mary Edith born and died in 1915.

I think I have somemore info on the Forryans (Ernests side anyway) if you need anymore help.
